Maps

UGS maps and accompanying booklets describe stratigraphy, structure, Quaternary geology, geologic hazards, economic geology, groundwater resources, and geologic resources. Maps are available in 7.5-minute, 30 x 60-minute, and 1 x 2-degree quadrangles. Additional maps include non-quadrangle geologic maps, national park and state park geologic maps, and other geologic data. In addition to PDF files, many maps are also available as geographic information system (GIS) databases, downloadable files, and interactive web apps.

The Natural Resources Map & Bookstore is operated by the Utah Geological Survey, a division of the Department of Natural Resources. Find print resources including UGS reports, books, guides, maps, and gifts.

The Utah Geological Survey Library has over 14,000 items including topographic and geologic maps, professional journals, professional society publications, theses and dissertations, data CDs and DVDs, and references about Utah’s geology.
