PRESS RELEASE: Utah Geological Survey Launches 2022 Calendar of Utah Geology

Salt Lake City (November 17, 2021) – The Utah Geological Survey (UGS) 2022 Calendar of Utah Geology is available now for $6.95 each and can be purchased online at utahmapstore.com or at the Natural Resources Map & Bookstore located at 1594 West North Temple in Salt Lake City.

This year’s calendar includes photographs taken statewide from the north arm of the Great Salt Lake in Box Elder County to Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness Area in Kane County. Photographs highlight Utah’s diverse geology found by UGS scientists working in the field and the calendar includes brief explanations of how and when these formations were created.


Photographed, designed, printed, and sold in Utah, the 2022 Calendar of Utah Geology can be purchased for $6.95 each, and $5.95 with orders of 10 or more.
