Draper Springtime Road Landslide, Salt Lake County

On Saturday morning, April 22nd, a landslide occurred on Springtime Road in Draper, Salt Lake County. Two homes (that were evacuated in October 2022 due to unstable ground conditions) collapsed as the hill they were on slid and fell into the small valley below.

Landslide Type: Not assessed, UGS has not visited the site in-person.

Size: Two Tennis courts wide at the top, more than three football fields long.

Special Conditions: Residential development of building pads engineered to fill a ravine.

Damages: Two vacant homes have fully collapsed and two additional homes have been ordered to evacuate. The landslide and debris fell onto Ann’s Trail which has been closed.

Status: Not assessed, UGS has not visited the site in-person.
