The rocks of West Wrinkles community pit; rock hammer for scale. Although there are many sizes and shapes of rocks, they tend to be flattish and thin with a white to cream to tan-rusty brown color
The east entrance to West Wrinkles community pit is marked by a brown fiberglass post on the main access road (at left). Collecting is allowed west of this point. Do not drive over or interfere with the exposed pipeline to the right of the post. Traveling on slopes greater than 40% and collecting on private land is prohibited (obtain map of this area from the Vernal Bureau of Land Management office)
